Crossbar Registration FAQs

Why do I want a Crossbar account prior to registering for the Warbirds season?

• The Oshkosh Area Youth Hockey Association is in the process of transitioning all communication and record keeping to the Crossbar platform. Creating an account and registering now will ensure that you stay informed for the upcoming season.

What is Crossbar?

• A one-stop-shop sports management program. 

Sign-Up Steps (if you DO NOT already have a Crossbar account)

• Go to https://www.oshkoshyouthhockey.org/signup
• Create an account with a username/password and click “sign up”
• Go to your verification email and verify your account – Click “Accept”
• Personalize Your Account
• Complete Profile by adding First Name, Last Name, Mobile Number
•  (this section is for you .. the account holder)
• Add a New Participant/Player
• This information is for your player(s)
• If you are planning on coaching, please add yourself as a “participant” as you will be participating in the league as a coach

Sign-Up Steps (if you DO already have a Crossbar account)

• Connecting your account to Oshkosh Area Youth Hockey
• Go to www.oshkoshyouthhockey.org.app.crossbar.org
• Find the waffle 
• Click Login
• Click on ID badge
• Scroll down to Club - Hit Plus Button, which will add the player to the club.
• Download the app
• iOS: Crossbar Mobile on the App 
• Google Play: Crossbar Mobile 

Adding and Managing Players and Family Members

• Click Account
• To add a Player
• Add Another Family Member
• Enter name and birthdate; save
• To Manage Existing Player
• Click “view details” next to player name
• Edit to modify name/birthdate
• Add Additional Parent/Guardian Account
• Click “view details” next to player name
• Click “Add Account”
• Enter email address of additional parent/guardian
• Name and phone number of the new account will appear blank until that user creates their own Crossbar account. They do not need to add players to their account; they will connect automatically. Connected accounts will receive correspondence, be able to register players, etc.

Registering for a season

• Using a computer or your phone navigate to https://www.oshkoshyouthhockey.org/
• Click on +Registration in the top right corner of the screen
• Choose which program you would like to register for and click "Learn More," this will take you to an informational page about the program
• From the informational page you can click on the black "REGISTER" button
• You will need to choose your participant from the list (if you already have a Crossbar account with your child on it) OR you will need to +NEW PARTICIPANT
• From there, registration will walk you through the steps needed
