The U6 Termites level focuses on FUN! The main focus of U6 is getting the kids moving with confidence on the ice, while introducing other core individual skills. Team play is not emphasized, this group's emphasis is individual skill confidence, laying the ground work for U8 Mites.
U6 Termites is offered in two separate sessions. Typically families will register for both.
'24-'25 Registration Fees: $75 per 6 wk session, $150 for both + USA Hockey Fees ($15)

U6 Termites will have 2x 6 week sessions per hockey season, the first being earlier in the season (Nov-Dec) and the second being after Christmas (Jan-Feb).

There may be opportunities for limited Jamborees, but games are not typically scheduled.

Second year returning participants are asked to source their own equipment. Total equipment cost at this age should not exceed $200-$250. Used equipment is highly encouraged at this age. The Association has limited equipment available for rent.
Way more information on equipment is available in the Parents section, or click HERE.
U6 Termites is all about having fun and getting the kids moving with confidence. The Coaches will be evaluating the skaters and making recommendations on moving to Introduction to Termites, or possibly moving to U8 Mites.
