Oshkosh Area Youth Hockey Board of Directors
Board members are elected by the membership to a two year term. All Officers of the Board (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer), as well as the board member at large positions, are 100% volunteer positions. Anyone interested in volunteering or learning about any opportunities to become involved with the club should email the OAYHA Secretary.
Association Impact
Ever wonder what it takes to put on a season of hockey? Here are a few of the things the Association does:
- Player and coach registration
- Practice and dry-land scheduling and contracts
- Establishes the budget and fundraising requirements
- Implements policies and programming that follow rules and initiatives laid forth by WAHA and USA Hockey.
- Maintains a large amount of playing equipment, including jerseys, practice equipment, and goalie equipment for our kids
- Provides regular communication to families
- Plans and coordinates regular season games
- Plans and coordinates home tournaments, including state tournaments
- Player and coach recruitment: advertising and conducting Try Hockey For Free (THFF) events
